    Ok, I’ve got it paused with about 30 seconds left in the first round and I just gotta ask if anyone else is freaking blown away by the commentators borderline obsession with Sokoudjou in this match. All they keep talking about is how Goddamned amazing he is while at the same time almost forgetting that Babalu even exists. I don’t think I’ve heard them say a single positive thing about Babalu yet.

    Don’t get me wrong, I really liked Sokodjou when he first busted on to the Pride scene and I really thought he was gonna be one of the next big names in MMA. However he has since hit a slump and hasn’t looked anywhere near as impressive as of late. I had really considered Babalu to be a heavy favorite going into this fight, but you wouldn’t guess that listening to the commentating.

    This comment is going to make me look so silly if I finish posting it, turn the fight back on, and see Sokodjou pounding Babalu in to the mat on his way to a technical knockout victory. In fact that would be just my luck.

    I agree OJ. Hes not that great, they need to get off his nuts. He always ‘blows his wad’ as Rogan likes to say.

    Soko is famous because of two punches he threw over a year ago, he is not even a good Mixed matial artist. no cardio, no stradigey, no combinations, no ground game. he just stands there and waits for a chance to throw all of his power into a right hand or a leg kick. WAY OVERRATED.
