If you are looking for in the character of a man, or his fighting style, you can not get much further apart than Chael Sonnen and Brian Stann. Stylistically, Sonnen is clearly a fighter, who uses his skills to make opponents and ground out. Stann is primarily a striker, who wants to stand up and knock out. On a personal level, Stann is a Marine real life, with combat experience in Iraq, while Sonnen has really pushed its status as a villain in real life in recent years, racist and demeaning to their opponents, and legal battles with both Athletic Commission and the State of Oregon. If you would like to see this as a struggle hero villain, which certainly would be justified.
