chuck will win his next fight, and after that due to the fact that he is the ufc’s posterboy he will be back in contention for the belt. if he can win 2 fights in a row the third will be a title shot. mark my words.

Well, what you say is possible, and isn’t really a stretch at all. Perhaps it will happen.

It’d be nice to see Chuck take a guy down and mount him, or at least attempt a flying armbar… Iuno just my two cents.

I am not doubting chucks ability for future fights, but he was not winning the fight at all, and he didn’t get caught, he got out matched in the stand-up.

i think chuck was over confident. i dont think he can get motivated like he used to. look at the axe murderer and what he did to jardine and what chuck to did to him all because he was motivated. i think chuck jus needs to get motivated then he wont be so sloppy, because he aint scared but he’s got to learn how to be cautious and unafraid at the same time, then hell start takin heads off again!

chuck liddell is at the bottom rung right now. i think its great that people have alot of good things to say about chuck. he’s been good for the sport. he’s an ambassador. but what he is not is a contender. a couple of more fights with other has beens will not change anything. his style is outdated and the skills he possesses now will only beat a novice opponent who’s probably more intimidated by his legend rather than his ablility. couture would mop the mat with liddell, guaranteed.

The next fight I would like to see with Chuck Liddell would be him against Brandon Vera. They’ve both lost three of their last four fights and I think it would be a great striking war. They’re both in a definite need to win situation. Throw the steak to the homeless guys, I wanna see this war. :)

i mean there’s a ton of great figihts lidell could do but whatever it is i hope it’s someone he hasn’t fought before, (machida, thiago silva, griffin, vera, bonnar, coleman, shogun

i think chucks style is too one dimensional for the modern mma guys. you can no longer be successful with just being good at one thing, you have to be able to win a fight from any situation.
