Great fight!! I really enjoyed watching this on Spike earlier. It was pretty much just a boxing match but very entertaining nonetheless. Joe Stevenson has got a lot of heart. Diego looked very fast and had great combonations.
I thought Diego looked more intense than ever. He is truly an evolved fighter and I think that he proved it in this fight. He was ale to use many aspects of fighting to secure the unanimous decision. Great job!
thats garbage. considering deagio beat the hell out of kenny florian at 170 . and that kenny is the 1st or 2nd best fighter in the 155 class . id thought he would smash joe daddy in 2 mins. the weight cut did not look good for him at all. he gave me NO NIGHTMARES . in fact just make me realize that watching that id underhook degio and over power him all day long. really thought deagio droping to 155 was scary as hell . i very happy to have see hes no threat at all. just dizzy looking sweaty mexcian . to me its nice to no that i could hang with these guys. and win. if deagio wanted to make any imprshion at 155 he should have stoped the fight with his crazy ground and pound very early but the weight cut did not look good at all . trust me he will be fighting at 170 agian soon
wow they both sucked, diego lost his strength dropping down, he’s not going to beat bj penn or kenny florian. trust me, he has no chance. and if he goes up to 170, alves or gsp gonna eat him up lol!
A good test for sanchez would be sherk, i recon that would be good!
iam the only mad that the ufc is letting people weigh what ever they want to wiegh on fight night sanchez said himself that he wighed 172 that day. thats 2 more pounds than walter weight thats makes me HATE the ufc . weigh ins the day of the fight or don’t fight in that class. i will step on a scale the day of the fight any day. do you no what that means for brock lesner hell be around 280 the day of the fight. thanks ufc for making this bulls#It . 172 fight in a 155 lbs class . thats not right . from this point on iam no longer gonna respect some of the fighters and the ufc as a whole . THATS NOT RIGHT. EAMPLE alves should be middel weight . anderson sliva should be light heavy . and deagio sancez should be walter or middel weight . changes to this rule must be mabe… i wonder what anthony jonshon weight the day of the fight. . iam pissed about this WEIGHS IN THE DAY OF THE FIGHT. AND IF YOUR TO OVER WORKED TO MAKE THE WEIGHT AND FIGHT THAN MOVE UP .

I thought this was a great fight I enjoyed watching joe get his butt handed to him by Diego. Diego has been my favorite and has not let me down. I would love to see him fight Joe again just like he wants to because im pretty sure Diego would defeat him once again!
what a pair o loosers that was no fight just a sparring session they can do better than that i guess ufc is gonna start fooling around with fixed bouts

deigo was sayin in all the interviews that 155 is a perfect dividsion 4 him and he will dominate the class but he looked sick like he looked malnurished and i think he lost alot of strength and power wen he dropped all that weight… he was hittin stevenson in the face and joe was jus smilin at him like thats crazy….sanchez got the win but i dont believe it was in a convincing fashion not at all
i think that sanchez still has his power. stevenson has a good chin and he is short and stocky. big next. you cant just rock somebody like right off the bat. it was a good fight. plus i believe that stevenson stood the whole time to prove a point. he gained respect from not only alot fans, but from sanchez himself. but he should have tried to take it to the ground. i sont believe sanchez will beat penn, but he will probably man handle florian. what they need to do is bring fedor into ufc. he will murder lesner, and even though couture is one of my favorite fighters, fedor would pound him too. lesner shouldnt even be the champ. his first fight in ufc was a loss to mir, and his second is a title fight? thats bs. but he entertaining because he is huge. fun fights to watch would be cabbage vs kimbo (i think cabbage would win). kimbo vs bob sapp(hard to say on this one). sapp vs lesner(lesner would prolly win because of conditioning). me vs all three of the ring girls (just grappling though. they could get the full mount on me anyday). and dana white vs joe rogan (once again i dont know who would win).
