Didn’t you read what I said?? I was just talking about the guard, you OBVIOUSLY have to be good at stand up and wrestling, just like Hazelett is. And when the fight went to the ground, he had a huge advantage.
And speaking about BJ, I don’t understand why dosen’t he practice the rubber guard, he could have a sickk rubber guard, because of the fact that his skills are soo good and he has mad flexibility.

Yeah but only a idiot would go into UFC with only 10th planet skills, and talking about the Rubber guard, it throws people off because there not ready for it, but if you go after anyone thats at the top of there game, like try using your Rubber Guard agaist BJ Penn or someone that knows how to defend you. You always need well rounded skills. Like BJ Penn would defend it then kick ur ass on the ground or standing up, and thats if u can take him to the ground

Remember me when you get tapped a lot by a guy with serious 10th Planet skills. The rubber specially is the most comprehensive guard you can have for MMA, I.E if a guy has taken you down and is trying to pound your face in nothing protects you more, in my opinion. Take it or leave if

constant Rogan rubber guard propaganda. Ok, we get it. You go to 10th planet.

It’s kinda getting annoying. It works just as many times as it doesn’t. Yes its a good tool to ADD to you JJ skills, but it’s not the be all and end all of MMA Jiu Jitsu.

That being said, great technique and sub skills by Hazelett. GG.
