A fight that wasn’t worth taking. Werdum had everything to lose, nothing to gain, Santos had everything to gain, nothing to lose. Werdum should have gotten a higher ranked guy then a title shot, cause this is BS.
im kinda glad that werdum lost. hes boring and i didnt want to keep hearing him complain about a title shot.

I didnt watch the fight but was glad to hear werdum got “KNOCKED OUT”. I guess santos might be a factor in this sport!!!!
Thats right werdum is fat, out of shape, and definitely boring to watch! Santos looked great in his debut! More of an exciting fighter, in shape, quick, aggressive, powerful right hand, and showed plenty of emotion. Surely you can’t get a highly ranked title shot if you get “KNOCKED OUT” along the way… You gotta beat the men before you can be the man!!!!

Werdum is a good fighter .. but at a disadvantage to Dos Santos with all that extra weight he tried to bulk up to fast with alot of protein. Which he never did enuff exercise to create the muscle or ate way to much, Werdum needed to put on weight but at a slower rate, Werdum needs to do more wrestling and keep going to chute boxe for stand up … this out of shape Werdum was a big surprise to me

Werdum did a big mistake, he is no a striker he is a grappler. He was Bjj and Adcc world champion! He needs to take the fight to the ground, he only have to strike if it is neccesary!
Now go to train a rebuild his name in the Ufc.

Dos Santos is from Nogueira’s camp, so to say he’s a slouch is wrong. And plus, Werdum has no hands…so that makes for a great knockout!
