Take that ufc and your new so called best heavy weight ever. He just got owned at his own game on the ground and fedor played his game and beat him. If ever fedor joins ufc and nogueira is still the champ he is just gonna hand the belt over cause he knows hes gonna get a pounding.

Nogueira is good, great even. Fedor is greater though. And if this matchup happens between Couture and Emelianenko, hopefully Nogueira will be able to face the winner. Frankly, I think he should face them both. I want to see Couture owned by PRIDE FC Alumnis.

I wonder if this were a 3 round fight who would have won. I remember the setup from pride at the time was 2 ten minute rounds. It probably would have been the same, however, Nogueira might have had more opportunity for a submission just because fedor would not have built as much rhythm as he did.
Fedor’s ground and pound is outstanding…the best I’ve ever seen…and if you add to that his brute force and the fact that he is relentless, the result is the best over 205 lbs in the world.

Fedor was never in a losing position…I’m sure if Minotauro were to talk of the problem with his Kimura attempts he would say that the rib shots Fedor bated him on took their toll. What do you do when your core strength is stripped from you and you watch yourself slowly slip into vulnerable. Know only this all of you…that fists used correctly will destroy the body, as the mind destroys the soul.
