AHHHHHH evans is the man lol i must admit forrest had the first two rounds but evans did the smart thing did wat he do best and took forrest 2 the ground and unloaded on him….i love it lol

  2. Francesco on December 28th, 2008 12:25 pm

Evan has a great ground and pound!

  3. knock-u on December 28th, 2008 1:01 pm

  4. Evanssucks on December 28th, 2008 1:13 pm

I hate Evans…from day one on the ultimate fighter….He is gonna get his ass handed to him one day and who ever it is I hope they jump down in the crowd and slap his wife too……

    Evans sucks…..that is all…..

  5. mmafrog on December 28th, 2008 1:39 pm

id rather see evans the champ then forrest

  6. Brian on December 28th, 2008 3:19 pm

I was hoping for Forrest but Forrest himself admitted that he had Evans in a ‘pathetic’ guard – and it was exactly that.

If Forrest had energy on the floor it could have been a different fight but Forrest seemed gassed and unenthusiastic.

Evans is lightning quick and seems unstoppable – It will be interesting to see who finally shuts him down.

  7. Colt on December 28th, 2008 3:37 pm

dumb stupid monkey shouldnt’ve threw them last 3 punches…stupid primape, acting out of order!!!!!!!!! nigglets..!!

  8. Indiglow on December 28th, 2008 3:58 pm

Evans sucks? Then why is he the champ? Why is he 18-0?

Give credit where credit is due. The guy is extremely athletic and powerful.

It’s gonna take a submission artist to take him out.

  9. justin on December 28th, 2008 4:08 pm

Great fight. The guard was so loose, Evans jump right on the Ground and Pound.

Colt, you are a dumbass, go back to your cave.

  10. James on December 28th, 2008 4:19 pm

Evan’s isnt a man and doesnt know what being a champ is about. He doesnt respect sh!t and nobody has ever been less deserving of being called a champion… Unfortunately he is still a very skilled fighter… Hate him, dont respect him and cant wait to see him get beat down.

  11. Blackhawk on December 28th, 2008 4:31 pm

Love him or hate him Evans is 18 -0-1 for a reason. He was being handled for 2 rounds and found an opening and took it. Forrest is a tough kid with a strong chin but he was rocked and Rashad jumped on him. That is the way the sport is at the championship level. One mistake can cost you the match. Conversely CB gets rocked and would have been toast had he been up against someone more experienced. Dana loves this kid for some reason and he keeps getting gimme fights. And I am not so sure that he didn’t tap again with the ref not seeing it and giving him a chance to get loose.

Any way we might be working towards a Page vs Sugar match up. Would be a battle but Manchida should get a shot before Jackson (IMO). Him and Evans would be a good one. Loyota has such a unique style that could cause Rashad some fits. Congrats to Rashad even though I was hoping for him to get it handed to him. He won and is deserving of the belt.

Hey Colt, aren’t you missing a kkk meeting somewhere?….look I can’t stand when Evans acts like an ASS, but the dude is talented, he’s athletic and powerful, Forrest should get a rematch but if he doesn’t then bring Anderson Silva up to take a crack. Silva walks around at about 220, no big deal for him to cut 15 lbs instead of 35 lbs like he does for MW. Rashad will realize there is always someone tougher, better, faster, and that someone is Anderson Silva, and there will be someone to come along that will beat him etc., etc.

  13. Madman1212 on December 28th, 2008 4:56 pm

    whos next for evans??
    rampage???
or who ever whens between thiago silva and lyoto machida???

  14. Evanssucks on December 28th, 2008 7:27 pm

Evans will never get my respect….

  15. Fanboys are Fagboys on December 28th, 2008 7:55 pm

Read my name, learn it. Rashad showboats cause he figured he could back it up, and guess what? HE DID.

Maybe spend less time getting crushes on fighters (how gay) and watch the damn sport objectively and appreciate the competition and stop being a woman and bringing drama into it.

Rashad kicked his ass fair and square showboat or not. Theres plenty of mental midgets in MMA.

    Get over it.

  16. titored on December 28th, 2008 9:21 pm

Hate the stupid MF like this Colt caracter…go F your self patetic racist…I don’t like Evans either but you got to respect the skills, but must of all the person.
Good for Rashad, he deserves it!!

  17. gwizzy on December 28th, 2008 10:23 pm

damn it!!.. i wanted to see forrest go against rampage again but i guess its going to be rashad now.

  18. means916 on December 29th, 2008 5:06 am

I’m seriously surprised about some of your guys’s comments.Forrest would of had the fight if it wasn’t for forrest’s lack of ground control. He had it in the bag. Rashad is not unbeatable . one more round without ground action it would of been forrest griffin still th champ. All hail the champ,
but dont count forrest out he lookied great tonight.

  19. means916 on December 29th, 2008 5:10 am

Rashad will not fight silva. Silva needs to look at much more heavy longer fighters than rashad.
Silva vs. Evans. 1 st round ko or tapout…. for sure. think realistic. evans vs. rampage….
    rampage 75, evans 25.

  20. means916 on December 29th, 2008 5:15 am

P.S. Colts a f’ing low class, retard wannabe buck who needs a swift fist in his ace. keep haten your buckstick piece of sheet.

  21. Dee on December 29th, 2008 10:52 am

Evans has always had skills but unfortunately he has never had any class. You’d think with all his success and fights he would have learned some respect for the sport and for the other fighters. I’ll give him credit cuz he can fight and currently 18-0 but his attitude reminds me of that boxer Prince Nasim who was undefeated until he face Marc Antonio Barrera who stopped his streaked and pretty much retired him. The true test of a fighter is how he bounces back from a beat down and Evans will get his. Can’t wait. As far as Colts comments, a little harsh although Evans does act like N****r most of the time. He won’t last long as champ.

  22. Free on December 29th, 2008 10:22 pm

i don’t understand how rashad is disrespectful…has he ever talked shit about fighters in pre-fight interviews…or anywhere else…he always talks good about other fighters..???..but….i don’t know..i guess that’s how it is when you look a certain way…if Forrest would of grabbed his nuts everyone would think its f**kin awesome ehh whatever not a big deal to me..just keep woopin ass rashad

  23. Sammyboi88 on December 30th, 2008 12:56 pm

colt if u readin this since ur such a F**** funny guy y dont u come down 2 richmond, Va and come bang wit this monkey/primape/nigglet

  24. scroobius on December 30th, 2008 9:35 pm

Man… I want to see them go again. I like both of these fighters, and don’t really get the Rashad rants; he’s more respectful and more skilled than Lesnar. Rashad plays some head games, but they’ve never seem like more than goofing around to me, but maybe I’m missing something.

I don’t really see how anyone got their asses kicked in this fight. At times, Forrest was putting on a clinic on his feet. A lesser fighter would have been caught — watch closely, and there are about three times Forrest rocks Rashad and nearly goes in for a follow-up, but Rashad has his head about him enough to put himself in the right position, expecting Forrest to come in, and he’s there ready for a counter. And Forrest saw that, and backed out. That’s just smart fighting.

Forrest has been a bit of a puzzlemaster since the Jardin fight; but he usually solves most of the puzzle before he gets in the ring. The one part he didn’t have solved here was how to close guard on Rashad’s ground and pound, and I bet both of them know it (and showed each other much respect after the call). Man, I hope there’s a rematch.

  25. means916 on December 31st, 2008 3:25 am

Good fight. I only have one point to make…… Kongo beat the living sheet out of Turk before a stoppage, but for a title fight main event your gonna stop it that quick…come on… Rashad is an awsome fighter but I think the champ should of got more of a chance..Knowing Forrest’s chin he surely could of recovered. I guess it is what it is… THE UNDEFEATED and NOW THE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION OF THE WORLD… SUGAR RASHAD EVANS..

  26. Free on December 31st, 2008 4:07 am

means916 i think Forrest was tapping…i am not sure though joe rogan said he was trying to tap…and it did look like he was tapping…and i think thats why it was stopped

  27. thesht on December 31st, 2008 8:04 am

in the post fight interviews griffin said hes flailling not tapping he was out after the first shot

  28. Vulcano on December 31st, 2008 12:23 pm

It looked to me like a tap. That hand was tapping the mat pretty fast while the other arm wasn’t moving much at all. And Evans is just a wierd guy with his entrance and the dancing. He isn’t disrespectful in any of his interviews thats just the way he is. It may be irritating to some but thats just him.

  29. Darkness on January 1st, 2009 1:15 pm

Griffin was doing so well, was unlucky but Rashad is dam good

  30. onlytrue1 on January 3rd, 2009 1:45 am

Rashad is no more disrespectful than BJ. Penn licking Blood off his glove or Talking Smack at everyone, Or as cocky as Matt Hughes or Tito Ortiz.

Forrestt guard was Loose because HE WAS HURT!!!!!! All that shoulda coulda woulda stuff if forrest could have done this or that If he had but he coulda went …….. Come on he got beat that’s it….
Old saying IF- IF’S AND BUTS WERE CHERRY AND NUTS WE’D ALL HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS.!!

AND all the racial comments dont mean anything either way Rashad is still the Champion.!!!
And your still a scared punk sitting at a computer wishing you were a real fighter.

  31. Whats the problem on January 13th, 2009 5:07 am

What is problem with Rashad’s celebration? After the fight he and Forest embraced and there was a show of great sportsmenship. I dont like Rashad’s celebrations because they look silly. But dont be fooled, Rashad is a M.S.U. grad, intelligent, and a hell of a fighter. He K.O.ed the greatest stand up fight in the game (Iceman), he finshed Forest. This Kid isn’t just a Wrestler anymore.

  32. WTW? on February 17th, 2009 5:45 am

Sweet! Griffin submitted! Very cool. Anyway, “Evanssucks”, go get a life. You are just hating the fact he won over Brad Imes. So what he showboatted. He’s a great guy inside….dummy.
