Whey protein is the fastest acting protein so it is favored for gaining or keeping on lean muscle. Like Lascivious said nutrition wise there are so many factors. It gets down to weight, body fat %, age, metabolism, how active you are. All of these are major factors to really figure out how you would lose fat the healthy way.
