MMA gloves

Anybody had any experience with the Tapout brand Cage gloves? I don't fight professionally so only really own one pair of gloves that I use for training and for amateur fights.

Hate to shell out $80 for gloves if they're exactly the same as all the other gloves on the market. Plus the gloves that I use have the full thumb on them. It'd be interesting to try open thumb gloves.

What's everyone's experience?

Btw I currently use Combat Sports all purpose gloves

You'll be paying for the brand with the Tapout gloves. Stick with Combat Sports who already have solid gloves.

I can't agree more.There are great off price options for gear available that are just as good if not better than the expensive brands.

Yeah,it's not about flash but function.Century and Combat always have good sales and the quality is fine.Just because were "told" to use Tapout gloves and wear Affliction,take xyience etc. makes me want to shop smart instead.Besides they dun got this recession on!
