This is the place to rant about anything that is bothering you in the world of MMA today

One thing that is bothering me is the fact that the UFC is pushing aside cheick kongo
he was supposed to be fighting brock lesnar at ufc 92 but he was thrown aside for randy vs brock
the guy cannot catch a break right now
all i have to say is that he better get a title shot in 2009

I think most true fans of MMA are upset about the Lesnar/Couture fight. Most agree that Lesnar does not deserve a shot at Couture at this stage in his career. I think what most of the hard-core fans want to see in the UFC is Couture vs Noguiera. Champ vs Interim Champ. That's what the fans deserve.

I understand their point from a marketing aspect but there's such a thing as paying your dues.

champ vs champ would make sense but couture has said that he doesnt want to fight nog because he doesnt feel that he is the best out there
and it wouldnt be fair to mir
this little tournament is awesome though

another thing that i cant stand is the hype on kimbo slice
i went to the tapout site the other day to find that they had made shirts for the man
that is a skid mark on the underwear of the premier mma clothing brand
it dissapointed me

also whats up with ken flo having to take a back seat to gsp?
granted bj wont be defending his belt against gsp but now kenny has to fight joe stevenson and what if he loses? then he gets no title shot
he should have one already

Seriously IMO the BJ/GSP fight is one that fans have wanted to see for awhile. I actually applauded the UFC for listening to their fans and scheduling that one.

i think it couldve waited
especially with the 155 and 170 divsion being stacked both gsp and bj have a lot of competiton to defend their belts against

Very True!! BJ still has competition: kenny florian, tyson griffin, Clay Guida
St.Pierre has:Thiago Alves and Anthony Johnson

i dont htink diego has a good chance, fitch didnt do much to GSP and diego got beat be fitch. but you never know
