I think he's got a good shot. I'd personally like to see Minatauro take it but I think the fight will be a good one. Both have so much experience its just a great match-up.

GO BIG NOG!! lol

the one thing about mir is his cardio and i think that could be his downfall
i wouldnt be surprised to see them stand instead of going to the ground like everyone wants

True true, and Nogueira has excellent cardio and has proven he can go the distance even in a high intensity fight. It will be a great match-up whatever the outcome. A good fight for fans IMO

rashad vs forrest is targeted for mainstream fans IMO
but mir and nog will be what the hardcore fans will want to see

i honestly like to watch stand up fights more, they are jsut more exciting to me. but Mir and Nog should be good cuz they are like the best on the ground.

That's why I think the UFC has REALLY put together an awesome card on this one. Something for the casual MMA fans as well as the die-hards. I think the die-hards are pretty exceited about the Rampage/Vanderlei fight too.

See that's what more promotions need to do. Put together cards where both the causal fan as well as the hard-core fans are excited for the match-ups.

one thing i like about the ufc is that they always put on a good card
like ufc 85
not too many star names but a lot of solid fighters
not too many people can see that
like the upcoming ufc 89 is going to be awesome

YES! looking forward to the Vera/Jardine fight. That's going to be a good one.

Same for UFC 90 - Griffin/Sherk Werdum/Dos Santos Alves/Sanchez Silva/Cote.... AWESOME card
