Yeah Pride used to have Grand Prix tournaments where you'd have to fight more than once in a night. It was a lot of fun to watch as your gameplan had to include not only winning the current fight but conserving energy for the next fight.

pretty much like the old ufc tournys with no weight classes, and before jui jitsu got involved.
