Couture vs Vera...I thought Randy won...
Very happy Couture won, I gave him the first round, he impossed the clinch and controlled the pace...He def won the first round...
Vera should have finished Couture in the second round, he knocked him down and he could have finished it., but he just sat there at relaexed...Vera could have won the fight right there, but....Besides the knock down, and then doing nothing, Vera didn't do much of anything in the round, and Couture pressed him and got control of the clinch and had "octagon control" and that may have persuaded the judges. Close round, I see it a lot closer than you guy's did. But I think Vera edged it out because in the clinch, Couture wasn't doing much, and Vera got a knockdown. Round 3 Randy hurt him in the first 30 seconds and stunned him with some good shots...Randy stayed in control of the clinch up until about 2 minutes left in the round, and Couture stayed very active and landed a lot good shots... Then Vera landed some good shots, but so did Randy..Vera got a TD and the mount with about 30 seconds left but I didn't see it as enough to win the fight for it. Vera only stayed on top for 15 seconds. 10-9 Randy Couture 29-28 Couture. I had it. Couture won the third, the only thing Vera did was a few body kicks which Randy came back with his own shots and the TD and mount for 15 seconds, which Couture got up from. Couture won the first 3 minutes of the round handedly IMO and that won him the fight. Glad he won. Most people thought Vera won but I don't see it.. SOO happy my boy Matt Brown won. I have been a huge fan ever since he was on TUF and I jumped soo high when he won. Bisping looked like **** to me, and beating up old Mr Kang doesn't mean much anymore. Bisping still hasn't proved anything to me, and still blows.

Seems as though Randy is facing Coleman next. This will probly be the oldest matchup we'll see that is actually decent. Supposedly Lesnar is sick too, damn swine flu is holding up my heavyweight matchups.

Also, Coleman/Randy is actually a good fight.. Coleman shocked me when he beat Bonnar..I don't think it's that much of a step down. Coleman is tougher and a way better wrestler than Vera so..They pose different threats to Randy. But hopefully Randy wins this one which I think he will.

I just saw the fight after my internet was down for a week.... My friends kept saying vera should have won but to me, Randy clearly won. Vera didn't do anything. Randy was the more aggresive fighter & he had octagon control 95% of the time.
Round 1 - Vera tagged Randy early in the first few seconds, but spent the next 4:55 mins getting clinched & dirty box. Vera didn't do anything, Randy won round 1. Round 2 - Again randy clinched vera and spent majority of the time pushing vera against the cage and neutralize vera's striking.... but mid way thru the fight, vera knocked randy down, but couldn't finish randy. It's a close round, could go either way.... Round 3 - Randy actually won the punching trades and pushed vera towards the cage, clinched & dirty boxed vera. Vera didn't do anything. Late in the round, Vera took randy down, but that's it. No ground & pound, no submission. 1 takedown vs 4 mins getting clinched and dirty boxed? Randy won round 3. 29-28 is the correct score. Randy Couture won that fight.

But i'm really getting worried for randy, yes, he is getting more technically sound, but he can't take punishment very well now. I see him getting injured very quickly/easily now.
