Hockey

Now that the Hockey season is in full swing I'm damn near glued to my TV every time I get home. Been watching probably about 8-9 games a week (I have the center ice package) and this past saturday every team in the league had a game, it was like overload for me as my TiVo can only handle two HD recordings at a time LOL.

Anybody else watching?

Oh yeah.... GO RED WINGS!

I've been meaning to watch the Wings play I just haven't took the time to sit down and actually watch an entire game in a long time (playoff games don't count)

LOL I understand that bro. I'm a huge hockey fan. Generally every season I'm pretty much in front of the TV when I'm not working. I try to watch as many games as I can but I make it a point to see every Wings game.

Been a fan since the mid 90's when I first started watching hockey, huge Wings fan. Have tons of jerseys. Even bought a new McCarty Jersey this year with the cup patch and put the Konstaninov tribute patch on it too

Yeah, for some reason when I was younger I thought it was boring, then I started going to one of my friend's AA games when we were in High School, and got completely sucked in

I grew up in Florida so there wasn't a huge hockey fanbase but then I just started watching it and found it so much more exciting than football.

I've been a rabid fan ever since. And it doesn't hurt that my wife is a huge Red Wings Fan as well

Yeah, and it's always nice to have a good team in Michigan, seeing as how I'm not much of a fan of basketball or baseball, and everyone knows the sad truth of the lions... I'll just stick with the wings.

LOL that is totally the truth. Growing up in FL you were pretty much obligated to be a fan of one of their teams. Its actually funny because growing up half of my family were Florida Gators fans and the other half were Florida State fans. So everytime the two teams played each other it was always a big event at my grandparents house.

I think one or two family fights started on those occassions LOL

LMAO my Uncle went to MSU so I think he ingrained in us early to always route for them when they play each other, but still I like UofM (best fight song in America)

Should be a good game, although Franzen is out for a bit because of a knee injury
