Rickson Gracie - Choke

Quote:
The fight ends when someone quits or is knocked unconscious. Don't look to the referee for help. If you get into trouble, your opponent will break your elbow, knee you in the head, or choke you out. This isn't ancient Greece or Rome. This is Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, or New York. The time is now. Welcome to the world of no-holds-barred freestyle fighting...the fastest growing "sport" in the United States, Brazil, and Japan. CHOKE follows undisputed World Freestyle Fighting Champion Rickson Gracie as he prepares to defend his title in a one-night, single elimination tournament where the winner will fight 3 separate fights over five hours. Actual Rickson did lose once to Ron Tripp in 93. Its something he doesn't mention too often LOL.

That's one thing about the Gracies, they are very proud and don't admit defeat lightly

IMO bascially he whined about the loss. The same way most of the Gracie's did when they were disgraced by their loss to "The Gracie Killer" Kazushi Sakuraba

I have to say I'm hugely impressed with Sakuraba's victories over the Gracie's. Hell Pride even let the Gracie's set their own rules when Royce fought him.

Its a good pedigree for Sakuraba... wins over Royler Gracie, Royce Gracie, Renzo Gracie and Ryan Gracie.
