Increasing punching speed and power....
Im not a fighter but where i life it doesnt hurt to have some lethal hands to defend yourself with
does anyone have any tips on increasing the speed and power of your punches?

the stuff we do to increase punching speed is we take 10 pound dumbbells and shadowbox...it helped me with my last couple fights....

i saw on tv once, rampage said that a lot of the strength comes from your legs and glute area
so would squats or something like that help?

idk i havent did squats in a while but ive been told to do deadlifts...........

i think when your legs are stronger it gives you a better plant foot so you can push off it harder.

I think the best way to increase speed is repetitive motion, this will eventually go into your muscle memory! And using weights is also not a bad idea!!

Who was it I saw in one of their training videos doing jumping jacks with 20 lb weights and then shadowboxing with 15 lb weights? I do remember that he said it helped his punching power

when i was watching the countdown to pulver/faber fight jens said that grip make you punch harder. he was holding a rope and trying to hang as long as he can

Just do the Fedor Work out. Everyone who fights him say they've never been hit so hard. LOL move to Russia and just start wrestling bears or something HAHA
