Dude where is the video. P.s Canada Sucks!

  4. Tim W. on February 1st, 2009 6:16 am

    @ Mork:

Canada is one of the best countries in the world in which to live, for obvious reasons. On top of that, we have wrecking machine GSP to entertain us.

    Go suck your thumb.

  5. Wardimus83 on February 1st, 2009 6:36 am

Where is the video?! 3 months back mmaroot would have had all of ufc 94 vids, now they have 1 that doesnt even work!!!

  6. Sunny on February 1st, 2009 6:49 am

What happened with this site, used to be able to count on mmaroot to have all the fights, in superb time, and now we get 1 fight on the card posted which doesn’t work – cmon mmaroot you can do better!

  7. mork from ork on February 1st, 2009 6:59 am

    Dear Celine,

I did not know that you are on GSP’s Payroll.
You wouldn’t happen to be French Canadian? You can never trust the French!
Either way Canada sucks……a US fighter will kick Georges butt.
All good things come to an end!

Also, I wonder when the last time GSP was tested for Anabolic steriods?

  8. lupiano on February 1st, 2009 7:44 am

i’m a french canadian and i know that any canadian trust us. if you judge someone by the language that he speak your a dumbass, specially if the only language you know is english.
we are in 2009 and you can consider yourself a dinosaur, extinction is not too far away :)

  9. Jake on February 1st, 2009 8:51 am

The UFC drugtest their fighters for every event, to expect something different is just ridiculous. And for the record, there is no US fighter in the welterweight (or middleweight, should he move up) that can beat GSP, sorry.

  10. Luis on February 1st, 2009 9:37 am

What the hell. I cannot find this video anywhere.

  11. Chris S on February 1st, 2009 10:22 am

What a great time to be a UFC fan…great fights…fighters…but where’s the video?

  12. SaviorSix on February 1st, 2009 10:42 am

@ mork maybe you are a USA fat Mcdonald Kid.

Tips for Bj Penn, Stay in the 155 pounds division dude it’s the only place where you can win.

  13. Kyle on February 1st, 2009 11:33 am

WTF happened to this site? I might as well take it off of my Bookmarks, because it has become useless. Goodbye MMA Root!!

  14. tater on February 1st, 2009 12:20 pm

    i agree with kyle
i used to always rely on this site to have the fights so i could watch because i had to work
now it is just pure crap

  15. George on February 1st, 2009 1:33 pm

i’d want to see the under trained kick back guy do what he says to prove you do not have to train 24/7

  16. George on February 1st, 2009 2:21 pm

Seriously you guys whine too much. Go order the pay-per-view if you want to see the fight that badly. The fights copywritten by ufc so quit whining you cant watch it for free they are there to make money you know.

  17. sporokus on February 1st, 2009 3:17 pm

The 3rd cheapest (and most awesome) way to watch the fights is to go to a sports bar. That’s how I’ve seen the past few fights.

Every time there is a UFC or Pride event, local bars here order the PPV. Nothing compares to the experience of sitting around with other people while talking trash, cheering, and guzzling lots of beer.

….ok…..well, I guess seeing it live in person would be pretty nice too, but it’s probably not as cheap as going to a sports bar.

The 2nd cheapest is of course…….inviting yourself over to a friends house who just happened to have ordered it LOL.

  18. iceman888srf on February 1st, 2009 3:27 pm

ps 5feet 9 155 steve the spartan foertsch and i will fight penn . he is over rated and has sevel holes in his game. i would love to be the second canadian to beat his ass. can’t wait to see kenny send him packing 4 rd tko by kenny as well

  19. Jamie on February 1st, 2009 4:22 pm

god damn MMA ROOT!! what are you doing?? Where’s the rest??? This was the biggest fight of the event damnit

  20. brenton on February 1st, 2009 5:06 pm

I new gsp was going to win that fight but i think the only person that could have beat him is bj. but u half to remeber that there is something out there that is better always

  21. Ke Huang on February 1st, 2009 5:11 pm

“Also, I wonder when the last time GSP was tested for Anabolic steriods?”

Every time before his fights, just like every other fighter in the UFC.

  22. BJ Who? on February 1st, 2009 5:39 pm

Stop your yakkin, the fights right here now.

  23. Tony on February 1st, 2009 5:47 pm

both fighters are brilliant in their own right. The new improved GSP, at his fighting weight , simply outclassed the new improved BJPenn, at his carrying weight. There is no shame here except for the self embarrassing trash-talk from hyper-inflated egos. They create weight classes for a reason and each fighter should stick to his to get his best performance for himself and the spectator. Way to go George.

  24. Mork sucks! on February 1st, 2009 7:59 pm

My name says it all….. Canada rocks!! sorry about your prized fighter… Blow Job Penn

  25. hefrod2ndDan on February 1st, 2009 8:21 pm

Glad u talk steriods… 90% of MMA use durabolin etc… They will need to clean it up shortly because congress is ready to challenge.
GSP is on roids as is Tito, and sooo many of them.

  26. Shadow on February 1st, 2009 8:56 pm

    Lupiano says:
i’m a french canadian and i know that any canadian trust us. if you judge someone by the language that he speak your a dumbass, specially if the only language you know is english.

    …this is actually a very dumb statment…and hypocritical…

  27. Meowdar on February 1st, 2009 9:29 pm

I’m from Georgia and I feel that I’ve watched enough MMA to know a good fighter. That’s not the hard part to me. The hard part for me is actually liking a good fighter enough to call him a favorite. Well, I like GSP over Penn because GSP takes all of his fights seriously–and that’s not to say that Penn didn’t take this one seriously. GSP shows more respect (and the cliche “respect is a strength, not a weakness” is something I stand by) towards any opponent (even the shit-talkers like Serra, and Penn to an extent) than any other UFC fighter. When asked, “GSP, Serra said you’d be better in the hockey rink eating french fries than in the octagon, what is your reply?” GSP’s answer to ANY shit-talker might as well be automated…and that is, “I’m not here to argue, I’m here to test my skills for myself in the ring. I will not let anyone get in my head.” And so far, so good. He hasn’t let his wins affect his modest ego and that impresses me the most. Georges St. Pierre is this American’s all-time favorite welterweight champion and that’s OVER Matt Hughes. If more people of any nationality could be like GSP in modesty, work ethic, and respect then the world would be a better place. GO GSP!

Im french Canadian,i live in florida though.but still you give me an american fighter, ill beat his ass bloody.the french and some of the smartest people around, and for their small size were strong as hell too.

  32. Rofl on February 2nd, 2009 6:12 am

canada produces some of the best fighters around so before u make a comment like that check ur history or can’t you read or have an attention span to look it up.

  33. Doc on February 2nd, 2009 7:36 am

ha ha ha! in your face, penn! in other words: you suck bj!
    GSP is a wizard!

  34. A.B.C on February 2nd, 2009 12:00 pm

BJ Penn got serve big time!! His cardio was pretty bad compared with GSP he was totally sharp and really solid with all his kicks and punches. GST is awesome!!

  35. Markstraining.com on February 2nd, 2009 3:42 pm

Excelent wrestling by GSP. His takedowns where precise and his groundwork proved that he has evloved amazingly well and continues to evolve. BJ Penn showed great heart to carry on moving, and try and defend as much as possible but GSP was to much for him. Great display.

  36. Jim Beam on February 2nd, 2009 5:03 pm

Still laughing at the moron who is beaking Canada… I am pretty sure George has beaten the best American fighters the UFC has to offer… And George is a natural athlete, his build is a result of hard work, not sticking a needle in his ass… Way to prove your your Country’s ignorance once again, not that it was’nt evident before. Thanks Alot MORK. GSP will be on top of the wealterweight division for 5 more years.

  37. Steve Jones on February 2nd, 2009 5:47 pm

WTF……Now the video is totally gone!!! ……???

For those of you who think we have no reason to complain about it…..because it undermines UFC making money off of it…….think of this a look-before-you-buy type of thing……because if it’s good, I’ll still pay to see it again on my plasma……

  41. ThousandDemons on February 3rd, 2009 7:13 am

Where is the next video? I want to know what Thiago Alvez had to say, if anything.

I’ve never been to Canada, but I’ve got a lot of Canadian friends, and any country that can produce them, and also GSP, has gotta be some kind of awesome.

  42. GSP on February 3rd, 2009 2:01 pm

Penn is a whining little crybaby accusing my trainers of putting too much vasaline on me.

Go back to Hawaii and fight the women you usually do.

    I kicked your ass,but good.

    C’est vrait.

  43. Nayna on February 3rd, 2009 2:11 pm

OMG…GSP made BJ Penn look like he never fought before, he wouped his ass, BJ should be ashamed of himself..it was an awsome fight..it went exactly how I predicted.

Am American but I like Canada and I think they are pretty cool actually. But even Canadians don’t like French-Canadians.. And if you call someone a french-canadian in Canada, it doesn’t over too well. They take offense.

With that said, it doesn’t bother me to have seen BJ get his ass handed to him. Even though I wanted BJ to win, I knew GSP was gonna unleash the fury on his ass and destroy him. And thats pretty much what happened. And I don’t think vaseline had anything to do with it.

  47. bartongannon on February 3rd, 2009 7:44 pm

cant help but absolutely respect GSP, hes the real thing. But dammit B.J why couldnt you put up more of a fight. I like GSP but love B.J. i was rootin for you playa why you’d let me down.

O Well i still have faith n you.

  50. Jerry on February 4th, 2009 5:57 am

MORK….you are a disgrace to your mother. father and country. GSP proved a strong work ethic beats a trash talking under trained egomaniac! This was one pro against another…not USA against Canada. I am Canadian and french too….lets see Mork the dork speak another language other that stupidity and ignorance. Quite simply BJ was ovematched and under trained…he was considered one of the best? Well he better watch his ass now..George exposed his weaknesses BIG TIME!

  51. Uncle MURDA on February 4th, 2009 10:45 am

YO iceman888srf , STF up, BJ PENN WOULD TOOL UR EMAIL THUG ASS. good fight, GSP is a force, probly wont find anyone at 170 who can beet him. 2010 gsp is gunna be 185. as for BJ, I say if he beets kenny, he really only has one or 2 more fights with the current 155 ufc roster. I forsee some other 155ers from across the ocean coming to the ufc.

  52. ClrX on February 4th, 2009 6:42 pm

@ The guy who made Himself as ”GSP” And posted this comment :

Penn is a whining little crybaby accusing my trainers of putting too much vasaline on me.

Go back to Hawaii and fight the women you usually do.

    I kicked your ass,but good.

    C’est vrait.

First GSP Would never Reply like that, hell he wouldn’t even Care… ANd second you can’t even spell ”Vrai” correctly… so as far as I know your not even french..

  53. triforce of3 on February 4th, 2009 8:42 pm

im an american and i have total respect for gsp he is my favorite fighter and im glad to see he put bj to shame after all the talk he did while gsp just sat there and listened. i agree with lupiano If u judge someone b/c of their nationality or language(Mork) or are clearly uneducated and ignorant.

  54. lee on February 5th, 2009 2:21 am

you said any american fighter would kick gsp’s ass? bj is an american, so are matt hughes, matt serra, and john fitch. gsp beat all of em. the country has nothing to do with the fighter. in the other weight classes americans have awesome champions, just not welterweight right now.

  55. SRB on February 5th, 2009 10:19 am

I’m glad to see there are enough people out there who can separate the fighters from the country. It doesn’t matter where you’re from- what matters is talent, training and work ethic. Ragging on someone else’s country or language is idiotic in any situation.

  56. glib on February 5th, 2009 11:54 am

  61. TAZ on February 8th, 2009 6:42 pm

I don’t think anyone in GSP weight can actually win against him.. But it would be fun if GSP did the same thing as Penn… move up weight and challenge the other champion, Anderson Silva…..

  62. randysphooey on February 16th, 2009 11:22 am

wtf? you guys used to rock…now cant even watch gsp vs penn. way to drop the ball.

  63. john on February 16th, 2009 7:05 pm

great fight… george is still the best fighter in his weight catagory..i am a fan of bj,, but george is still my favorite. proud canadian. sorry usa and the rest of the world.. GEORGE ST. PIERRE RULES …WE CANADIANS ARE VERY PROUD OF GSP. BEST IN THE WORLD.. BETTERB LUCK NEXT TIME

  64. walton on February 25th, 2009 2:35 pm

I just want to know when Dana White is going to put St.pierre and Anderson Sylva against each other to find out who is the pound for pound best fighter in the world.

  65. bigboy24 on March 22nd, 2009 2:07 pm

word GSP cheated wit the fukin vasiline

  66. GEORGE on April 12th, 2009 11:19 pm

I too had difficulties locating this video. But overall their is no question who the best fighter in this match is- George St. Pierre.

  67. Dave on April 15th, 2009 4:42 pm

BJ Penn is a great fighter, no question about it, GSP is in another planet. The same planet that Anderson Silva and Fedor are on. Penn got his ass kicked and he had to eat his own workds. And he uses the cheating excuse too. I do think he will dominate the lightweight division though for a long time.
