    Good to see Nate finally fighting to win rather than simply not to lose…all these refs, including Herb “I’m only gonna give you one warning” Dean, are starting to piss me off..great fight, alot of heart from both guys

    Just remember, all the judges had Nate ahead (30-27, 29-28, 29-28), it’s the two points that did him in.

    regardless of the point deductions nate should have been disqualified for the illegal piledriver at the end of the third round, no questions asked.

    Agreed, not only was it illegal, it was stupid. I pretty sure the win doesn’t count if you break your opponents neck, and even if it did he, would have never fought in the UFC again.

    If knees to the head of a grounded opponent and elbows to the back of the head are legal, then Nathan should have won. But they’re not.

    herb dean read the rules the rules state that a fighter is down when he has three points of contact with the mat if you rewatch the fight when marquart throws the knee thalis had only 2 points of contact therefor it should ve been a knock out clearly herb dean was out of possision to to see what was happening that thalis had his hands up to block if instant replay was available herb dean would ve had to change his call

    Thats a spike and nate should have been disqualified on the same grounds as an intentional knee to the face on the ground
