this is gona be a sick fight i say brock wins a decision unless randy pulls of a subbmission

  2. iceman888srf on September 3rd, 2008 11:39 pm

randy better and i mean better break this big boy down cut him punch him elbow him and most of all tire him out and take the right time to finish subbmitt or ground and pound . i pray to the fighting gods that randy wins in strong fashion

  3. Rex on September 4th, 2008 8:25 am

R u kidding me arch? Brock is gonna get owned in the first 30 seconds, mark my words.

  4. TBHC on September 4th, 2008 12:30 pm

Randy is just looking for out not to face fedor. If Brock beats him, which he might, that fight is over.

this is a stupid fight for Randy’s career, he came back and made 2 big upsets, beating Gonzaga and Sylvia when everybody thought he was over hill coming off of 2 knock out losses to Liddel, this was the pinacle pointe of his career, the only fight he saw fit was against Fedor basicaly because he has nothing else to prove, what he did is a historic pointe in mma history, but i just dont see anything for him to gain with fighting Lesnar, if he beats him so what, say what you want but Brock isn’t even a top 10 HW, if he loses then all the spot light will be on Brock, nobody will care about a Randy vs anybody anymore, he’ll lose all this luster that his hard work has earned him, to gain nothing, he has money, he has a fight guaranteed with the winner of Nog vs Mir either way, all i can say is Randy’s a true warrior for taking this bout

  6. paddedummy on September 4th, 2008 3:20 pm

Since he isn’t getting any younger, old man Couture probably worked out a deal with that sheisty pig Dana to give cred to his knew WWE golden boy. I say Randy throws the fight for a big pile of money and goes away with a nice retirement fund. The fix is in boys!

  7. Murrain (the brute) on September 4th, 2008 4:55 pm

Bigger, Stronger, Younger does not confer winner. Whatever, Randy didn’t deserve the fight with Fedor anyways; everyone has beat Sylvia. If anything Barnett deserves the next shot at Fedor.

  8. KrazyE on September 5th, 2008 12:00 am

Murrain, I don’t think you realize that steroid Barnett has fought Fedor and lost.

I agree with paddedummy brock is a nobody in the mma Fedor is why risk losing to a nobody when u can lose to a somebody and then lose to a nobody unless of course like paddedummy said someone is planning a retirement and wants to pass the torch to the next up and commer so they can try and steal the spotlight from the best ever Fedor or whoever is out to beat.

the fight i would like to see would be brock and kimbo or fedor vs brock and or kimbo those would be some awsome bouts forsure

Thank god for this fight! I love Dana for putting on all the best fights that fans want to see. Brock will definitly win, and I am in disbelief that people think Randy’s got a shot. This opinion isn’t coming from some casual fan, I know this sport and the world of mma has never seen a speciman like Brock before. No one comes close to his combination of speed, power, agility, and quickness….not even close. Brock has length and will have a 40 lbs weight advantage, both of which is huge in the fight world. His only shot is to win by submission, but Brock will sit on him for 5 rounds and Randy will never be in the position to pull that off. To Randy’s credit, he is a warrior for taking this fight, but it also isn’t the bad career move everyone thinks it his. It will be his biggest payday, if he wins it will only solidify his mark as an all time great, and if he ever fights and beats Fedor, Randy will be on the top of the mma world.

Yeah i see this as being one of two things. A match up to make big dollars and to make Brock shine and Couture richer or Randy trying to pull off another David vs Galyth<=(prolly not spelled correct), i hate to say the pay off thing because i find mma to be rich and true and honest but it does have that possible pay off for some of these fighters they are using to promote and get bigger off of. But I cant stand Brock and I hope he loses. When Mir beat him I pointed at everyone in the bar and said “I TOLD YOU!” Well i guess we will see.

oh and to comment on Sir_Genius you my friend have no idea what you are talking about. You sound as if you watch the WWF and your average run of the mill band wagon UFC fan. You are entitled to your opinion, even if it is generic as hell.

  14. Brandon W on September 5th, 2008 9:54 pm

And Kimbo sucks balls! Any HW in the UFC or WEC would whip his ASS!!!

  15. lol1121212 on September 6th, 2008 4:04 am

lol brocks head is the size of the middle guy and randy’s combined… brock wins, hes too damn strong lol.

  16. sir_genius on September 6th, 2008 12:34 pm

Brandon you didn’t make a single intelligent comment or rebuttle. If you think Randy is going to win, please tell me how. I’ve already made the point that Brock has supieror power, speed, and agility, with a huge weight and height advantage. You even made the point that this will be a david vs goliath match for Randy (meaning Randy is the underdog) which he is. I’m not a WWE fan, I’m just pointing out the obvious that eveyone was able to see in the Brock vs Herring fight. Again, Brock will win by dominating on top for five rounds plain and simple. Randy is not the Jiu Jitsu guy that Mir is and I’m sure Brock will not leave himself as open as he did in that fight for a submission.

  17. Brandon w. on September 9th, 2008 5:25 pm

Sir_Genius, Yes he has all those things and Randy is fully aware of all of these things and has stated that. Randy has been in the fight game for how long??? He sure does have Ju Jitsu; Brock does not have all the tools in the MMA game. For the most part he can rely on his size until he faces someone with superior skills, like a Frank Mir who made his big ass tap out. But also as i said before this could be a fixed fight as well to let Brock become a huge star off of Randy’s name and for Randy to retire with a good bit of money in the bank. So it is up in the air until we see what actually goes down.

Fedor would destroy Kimbo Slice and Brock Lesnar no problem, maybe Brock in a few years but he wouldn’t have chance now!?… Randy Couture and Nogueira are the only fighters good enough to do it!!

  19. asdgh on October 4th, 2008 7:43 am

I don’t think that Brock deserves this fight in the slightest, he’s only won once in the UFC!!! and now he’s getting a title shot!? It’s all about the money for Dana White, Cheick Kongo should’ve got this fight with Randy…

  20. timo on October 7th, 2008 7:53 pm

i put my money on lesnar
