Gomi got robbed big time. Anyone who says otherwise is stupid. 10 pt system or not gomi got robbed. If they did the 10 pt system, 1st and 3rd goes to Gomi, 2nd could even arguably go to Gomi, beside the one punch that dazed Gomi for a second he recovered well and finished off the round stalking kolyaev and throwing leg kicks. Before he got caught in the second round he constantly stalked kolyaev and landed punches and kicks. So even if you look at the whole fight Gomi still put up a better fight. No doubt this was not his best fight and he is capable of doing better. He did look better with his conditioning, unlike the diaz fight where he was just gassed only after a few minutes. Whoever said Gomi is like tyson must be complementing gomi than, tyson is a legend for boxing so stfu. Gomi will definitely have a come back he just needs a little motivation.

Isn’t WVR judged the same way Pride use to be where the fight is judged as a whole and not round by round???

If so It doesn’t matter whther Gomi won round 1 and 3 or not but rather how much he won those rounds by compared to how badly he lost round 2.

Personally i think under those rules Gomi lost had it been in the UFC or other org that scores round by round then Gomi won or it was a draw.

ps gomi looked absolutely terrible even if they gave him the gift decision hes still a has-been and would get tooled by most of the top guys at 155 in the world today. penn would absolutely murder him.

I agree with everyone else here, Gomi was robbed, Sergey had that one knock-down that fazzed Gomi in the second, but Gomi was obviously the agressor of the fight with Sergey on the counter-attack, Gomi got the mount 3 or 4 times and made some sub attempts, he landed dozens of leg kicks, and even landed a few grazing hooks, i really am upset with these judges

Golyaev won fair and square. Gomi didn’t actually land many of his shots in the first and lost a lot of momentum during the second. Again in the 3rd he didn’t land many.
