It is absolutely pathetic that this is billed at the “biggest UFC fight of all time”. It’s completely disrespectful to all the MMA fighters who have committed themselves to the UFC and the sport.

It simply illustrates that in the end, this is a business and all that matters is how much $$ your name can rake in.

Soon, when the likes of Kimbo are premiering in the UFC – that will be billed as “the NEW biggest UFC fight of all time!!!”

    watch and see.

I really hope you’re not comparing Lesnar and Kimbo

Randy’s facing an oppenent like no other he’s faced, Brock is Big, Strong, and very ATHLETIC. Which means he’s quite quick. Every big guy he’s faced was to slow, not nearly as big and strong. Lesnar’s legs are ready for Randy’s, There’s no way he’s gonna greco him, or dirty box him.

Randy, hope you’re still alive on Sunday

  5. NLBD on November 15th, 2008 2:54 am

lol Todd are u saying Gonzaga is slow? How about Vitor Belfort?

I don’t really think Brock can beat either of them, he got a title shot with a 2-1 record just because he used to be famous in WWE and he’s american.

If everything goes right then next year we will see Nog v.s. Randy for the HW championship and I can guarantee u the promotion at that time wouldn’t be 1/10 of the promotion for 91. Because there s just not enough hype.

if gonzaga wasn’t slow before (which he wasn’t) he’d sure be now weighin in at 256… whatsup with these brazilians *cough verdum cough* …. they’re not gaining muscle but fat…

@nlbd – yes if all goes well we’ll see 2 of the top hw’s fighting goin at it, yes it probably won’t be as big as 91 but who cares, i finally get to see nog vs randy, almost as good as randy vs fedor.

randy will win this fight by tko round 3

I think its terrible that Lesnar can get a title shot this quick, just an example, look at Liddells record, he had 9 back 2 back wins in the UFC before he fought Randy for the interim title, Lesnar has beat The Texas Crazy Horse, thats it… Lets just hope Randy does what he does best and sends this oversized, hyped-up WWE star packing!!!!

Biggest fight in UFC history… Saying this makes them look bad.
Brock is a real contender but every second that he does not violently end the fight Randys odds go up by a large ammount. If Brocks plan is to ‘Heath Herring’ Randy…Brock will lose. If the fight lasts longer than 120 seconds Randy will come out the easy winner by decision.

ohhh come on guys. i understand if you’re not a fan of brock or you dont like him. but you cant hate brock for fighting for the title, i mean he’s not making that fight its dana or who ever that is in the ufc. so get a life and get your excuses ready when brock wins this fight. even tho most of us love randy on this fight but i just dont understand about how they hate brock so much and talk about WWE again. get over it.

  10. keith on November 15th, 2008 12:46 pm

MOst of you have no idea what your talking about. Randy couture got a title shot in his 4th fight of his career. BJ Penn his 4th fight also. Who cares how many fights you have.
Lesnar has better Wrestling Credentials then 99% of the fighters in the UFC, was NCAA Champion, is a great athelete and marketable. In this day and age with the heavyweight division the way it is, this fight makes perfect sense. Brock wins and he just took out a legend, he loses and everyone says i told so and randy moves on

Keith, you make a great point.

BUT that doesn’t change the fact that it is still hilariously presumptuous to bill this dribble as the “greatest fight in UFC history” that is a title that should be awarded 1) After the fight and 2) by the fans.

  12. the playground chump on November 15th, 2008 2:25 pm

my dad can beat bouth of them!!

  13. PARVO on November 15th, 2008 4:12 pm

Is everyone here that lame?? Why dont you guys read between the lines, its not the biggest UFC fight in history its going to be the biggest PAY PER VIEW BUYS in UFC history..

  14. Charlie on November 15th, 2008 4:37 pm

Though Brock does not have much MMA experience, he is a credited wrestler with massive strength and has proved himself in the ring, even in the fight he lost with Frank Mir. I can understand why the UFC would give him a shot like this so quickly because there are not many opponents that would be a good “match up”, which would make Broke look better then he is. I am a big Couture fan and as long as Randy can avoid the knock out punch, technique and experience will provail. This fight will NOT go to a decision.

  15. Dirty 3Rd on November 15th, 2008 11:03 pm

i could beat both of those chumps…… muahaaaa

  16. dan on November 16th, 2008 12:42 am

    go brock !!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. dan on November 16th, 2008 12:43 am

    brock is gonna crush couture
