I think that would make for one hell of a match up if they both stayed on their feet. Obviously GSP. could take Alves down at will. But Thiago is every bit as big if not bigger welter weight as GSP. So striking would be interesting. Not to mention that I don't think anyone else in the welter weight class could give GSP a challenge. I would also like to see Thiago Alves fight George St. Pierre. Take nothing from either of these 2 fighters ..both r the best by far in there division.
